Terms of Service

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms govern your use of ApplyCruise (“we”, “us”), run by an independent developer in India. By creating an account you agree to them. Clause 5 describes a real risk to your job-site accounts — please read it before connecting any site.

1.The service

ApplyCruise searches job sites you connect, scores each posting against your résumé, and submits applications on your behalf — except on LinkedIn, where by default it queues matching jobs for you to apply to yourself (see clause 5). It answers employer questionnaires using AI that works from the profile and résumé you provide, tracks what it applied to, and lets you record interview progress.

What we do not do: contact employers on your behalf outside of an application, negotiate, represent you as an agent or recruiter, or make any decision about your candidacy. We are a tool you direct, not a placement service.

2.Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.
  • One account per person. Accounts are not transferable or shareable.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping your password and email secure.
  • The information you give us — résumé, experience, notice period, expected salary — must be truthful. It is submitted to employers under your name.

3.What we cannot promise

We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, any number of applications, or any response rate. Job sites change their pages, impose their own daily limits, and de-list postings without notice; an application may fail for reasons entirely outside our control.

We count an application as submitted only when the job site itself confirms it. Where we cannot confirm, we tell you so rather than claim a success.

4.Your content and the permission we need

Your résumé and profile remain yours. To run the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to store that content, process it (including sending relevant extracts to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy), and submit it to the job sites and employers you direct us to.

That permission exists only to operate the service for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your résumé to train our own models. Deleting your account ends it — see the Privacy Policy for retention.

5.Job-site accounts, automation, and the risk you accept

Read this before connecting a job site

Most job sites prohibit automated access in their own terms of use. ApplyCruise automates your account on those sites at your instruction. A site may, at its discretion, rate-limit, restrict, suspend or permanently ban an account it believes is automated.

You accept that risk for each site you connect. We cannot indemnify you against it, appeal it for you, or recover an account that a job site restricts. If that risk is unacceptable for a particular account, do not connect it.

You confirm that you have the right to use each job-site account you connect, that it is your own, and that you are responsible for complying with that site’s terms. We apply conservative rate limits by default and, on LinkedIn, default to preparing applications for you to submit yourself rather than submitting them automatically — but the decision to automate any account remains yours.

We may reduce automation, disable a site integration, or stop supporting a site entirely if that site’s position or technical measures change. That is not a breach of these terms by us.

6.AI-generated answers are drafts you are accountable for

Employer questionnaires are answered by an AI model using your profile. Models make mistakes. Answers may be wrong, out of date, or poorly judged, and they are submitted under your name to real employers.

You are responsible for the content of your applications. We give you tools to review and correct what the AI does — the answer inbox, where questions it cannot answer come to you (an answer can be corrected straight after you give it), and the profile it answers from — and we encourage you to use them. Misrepresenting your experience to an employer is your liability, not ours.

7.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any account that is not yours, or on behalf of a third party without their authority.
  • Submit false credentials, fabricated experience, or another person's résumé.
  • Resell, sublicense, or operate the service as a bureau for other job-seekers.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, quotas, rate limits, or billing.
  • Probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our infrastructure, or use the service to attack a job site.
  • Use the service for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this clause, without refund where the breach is serious or repeated.

8.Plans, billing and renewal

  • A free tier is available indefinitely at its stated limits. A paid plan is a one-off purchase of a 30-day (monthly) or 365-day (annual) period, paid in advance through Razorpay.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees. The price shown is the amount charged at checkout.
  • Plan limits — applications per month, per day, and the number of connected sites — are enforced by the service and shown on your billing page.
  • Paid plans are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew: when a paid period ends, the account drops to the free tier rather than being charged again or blocked. To keep a paid plan, you buy another period.
  • Buying the same plan on the same billing period while it is still active adds the new period to the end of the current one. Switching to a different plan, or to the other billing period, starts a new period at once, and time left on the previous plan is not carried over.
  • We may change prices with notice. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Refunds are covered by our Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which allows a refund request within 7 days of a charge.

9.Availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Applying runs on shared capacity, so a run you start may be queued behind another before it begins; we show you your position when that happens. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we may take the service down for maintenance.

10.Suspension, termination and deletion

You may cancel or delete your account at any time from your Profile page (Dashboard → Profile → Delete your account); deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law, and will tell you why unless prevented from doing so.

On deletion we remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, including the job-site sessions stored for your account.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ApplyCruise is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost opportunities, lost employment, lost earnings, or for the restriction or loss of any third-party account.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ApplyCruise against claims arising from information you supplied that was untrue, from your use of an account you were not entitled to use, or from your breach of these terms or of a job site’s terms.

13.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, stop using the service — you can delete your account at any time.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be heard by the competent courts in India, subject to any right you have to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
